Virus on my computer that wont let me access Gmail and connect to the internet

well I dont know what the problem is but when I try and visit Gmail or any online purchase checkout page or even my World of Warcraft updater cannot connect to the internet and this is a very annoying problem, I am able to surf the web on some sites but others when i go to them I get a page cannot load error this is very confusing

You need also to run the steps found HERE If instructions say to have the program fix what is found then please do so.
