Ok (not to be sarcastic) click on every thing at the bottom of your screen (on the tool bar) and on the upper right hand corner theres a big red X click it and click all the big red X's you can find.... Simple put theres nothing hiding just run HJT by itself with out firefox or IE running or computer games ect.

don't really understand what the Big X's do mean.. sorry for my english..

but I assume that you refer to the bottom right corner where is the clock and volume setting

so I closed everything I could there

here is the new log

hotoffers still there also

there is reference to

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Security iGuard] C:\Program Files\Security iGuard\Security iGuard.exe

but I did removed this I guard, but seems to come back to

and hotoffers stoped for a while but has came back

thanx very very much in advance for all your help

Stef

so all the windows were closed...

thanx for support

Hi Stef.

Download the Pocket KillBox
Unzip the file to your desktop.
Run Pocket Killbox and paste the full file path of each of the below files in the box and click on Standard File Kill and End Explorer Shell While Killing File. Click on the button with the red circle and an X in the middle after you enter each file (see the files below).

C:\WINDOWS\System32\systr.dll
C:\WINDOWS\System32\netdc.exe

Reboot afterwards if the files are successfully deleted.

If all files are not deleted, do not reboot yet. Run Pocket Killbox again and paste the full file path in the box and click on Delete on Reboot. Next click on the button with the red circle and an X in the middle. You will get a message saying "File with be deleted on next reboot, Process and Reboot now?" Click "Yes" to reboot only after the last file you enter.

Scan with hijackthis and tick the boxes next to all the following entries, then close all browser and explorer windows and hit the "Fix checked" button.

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.hotoffers.info/192/

Reboot when done and post another log please.

Hi Crunchie

C:\WINDOWS\System32\systr.dll

Now, place a check in the box to End Explorer.exe while killing file and hit the Kill File button.

success file was deleted...

Repeat those steps for the following;

C:\WINDOWS\System32\netdc.exe

Hi Crunhie

thanx again for all your help..

I have followed all the instruction at Symanted..

last night (I'm in Thailand so there is some time differences eeheh ) it looked good .. the last scan from hijack, adware, seek and destroy Bit defender were fine..
exept that I cannot get rid off

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\netdc.exe

the reg edit was changed to goood too

after several scan it seem that netdc was not there

but but but this morning all this shit came back !!!

this bloody C:\WINDOWS\System32\systr.dll can't stop to come back while I kill it every time with the kill box

I'm honestly desesperate..

is there a way to get rid of it?

thanx again for all you most welcomed support

Stef

Hi Stef. Have you tried to rename the file at all? If not, boot into safe mode and try to rename it. Check the file properties too and make sure it is not set as read only.
Reboot normally and then attempt to delete systr.dll (or whatever you renamed it.)
