R6002 Floating point not supported or loaded... picasa, speccy, and ccleaner affected

when i click to open ccleaner, or speccy, or picasa from the desktop shortcut... it opens for a few seconds n then a pop up window shows up, saying -
"Runtime error!
program: C:\program files\speccy\speccy.exe

R6002
-floating point support not loaded"

i did a few google search relating to this R6002 error... i didnt find anything that i could use properly.... a few pages described abt this being a problem with microsoft visual c .. but no methods to HOW TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM :(
previously i had windows 7, but then i changed back to xp as a lot of programs didnt run there... n iv been facing this problem ever since :'( cant understand whats wrong with my system... PLEASE HELP ME OUT...

i think i may have some virus in my system, n some registry issues, when i was doing the MBA-M check, i think i saw some sality virus infesting some registry keys or files.. cannot remember that for sure as i only took a quick glance through all of it :(

so far, adobe acrobat isnt running, the window opens n then vanishes after a few seconds, mind you that other adobe products like the acrobat distiller, bridge, photoshop are all running fine.

n speccy, ccleaner, and picasa all are showing the same thing-
"Runtime error!
R6002 floating point not loaded"

i think i gave a long list of problems... :( its just that i dont know why this is happening to me.
would really be grateful if someone could help me out with these problems :)

I was having the same issue. I could not open ccleaner, Malwarebytes, or super anti spyware, and found out I got a virus somehow. Here is what you have to do. Make sure you are logged in as Administrator on your computer, then go to the control panel, under user accounts and create a new Admin. account, and put a password on it. Next, log out of your current admin account and log in the one you just created. Now you have to delete, or uninstall the programs that are affected, and reinstall them. Until you find the virus or trojan that is affecting you, you should not use the old admin account. You can still access files that are stored under the old account, but you regain control over the programs.
