Yesterday I noticed a bunch of program shortcut items on my desktop that I knew I didn't download, so I figured they were spyware & viruses. Then my computer started alerting me that it found trojan and "clean them".
So I did a virus scan and ran my spyware distroyer and they both found a LOT of stuff. So I deleted/cleaned what it would let me and when I restarted, the desktop wouldn't load.
I can see my desktop background, but nothing else... Also, a TON of pop-ups keep coming up. I went to the task manager and saw that explorer.exe wasn't running so I tried doing the new task thing and typed in explorer.exe and it didn't load, so it didn't work.
Also, I can get online b/c of all the pop-ups that come up, and I can just load it through task manager. But some icons won't work when clicked on. I think they MIGHT all be java-script, but i dunno.
By The Way, I have Windows XP...

I downloaded the HiJackthis program and here's the log...

Arg, that log is poorly formatted, I know you probally didn't paste it there like that, but could you try and paste it in the format it pops up in? Or you could just attach the log. Its just as it is now, it is hard on the eyes :).

Sorry... I can only do so much when my computer isn't working... I'll just have to enter HTML code which is going to take a while.... Okay... I hope this comes out okay... I can't really do this any other way b/c I don't have a way to... seeing how my computer is BROKEN! Thankx ~Julia
