Desktop Hijacked

One of the laptops i use has been hijacked and whenever i log onto it...a command pops up called runsvr32.exe and den the backround changes to blue saying i have spyware threats on my computer and has a link to www.total-protection.com or something of the sort. Also i have pop ups from this site and a yellow icon in my taskbar tray showing pop ups as well.I stopped using internet on that laptop now till i have sorted this mess out. I use wireless internet on it as i have a wireless network around ma house.PLease help me, thanks in advance.

is the rest of your network infected?

either reinstall the system OR download windows defender (its microsofts new anti-spyware tool) - also might help to use avg

no the rest of my network seems ok...hijack free.
are u sure windows defender will get rid of it? i dnt wnt to re install my system....so any other options would be great, thanks agen

uhh well windows defender got all my annoying popups that said "warning you have viruses download x (which was itself a virus) ansd stuff like that

1. download the "malicious software removal tool" from microsoft - it gets rid of blaster worm and stuff

2. download windows defender and do FULL (not quick) scan

3. download avg and run a FULL virus scan

i did the above - in that order on a spyware ridden machine and it cleared 80% of it all - enough so that i could isolate the problems and download tools specific for them

Download and run Ewido spyware trojan removal tool fully working 14 day trial

After running ewido run hijackthis again and post new log .

i need to delete those processes u mentioned, i have already tried using that program u suggested but it still loads up on the next start up. i have also found out that there is the runsrv32.dll which is also associated with runsrv.exe...how do i delete these files (including that transponder susp.exe) properly so they are gone forever? thanks again

Close all other windows and click Fix Checked

Double-click Killbox.exe to run it.
Select:

Delete on Reboot
Then Click on the All Files button.

Copy the file paths below to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C

Return to Killbox, go to File, and choose Paste from Clipboard.
Click the X button. Click Yes at the Delete on Reboot prompt.

Run ActiveScan online virus scan:

When the scan is finished, save the results from the scan!

Post tose results together with a new Hijackthis log

i did what you said, except i couldn't find susp.exe in the system32 folder after i fixed it in hijackthis...after the computer rebooted it was the still the same as before, i noticed when the computer loaded the command prompt bit loaded up and it executed ntvdm.exe or something like that and then runsrv32.exe....i couldn't complete the panda scan as it kept freezing...here is the HJT log:

Disable AVG's guard first.

Then go to
My Computer -> Tools -> Folder Options -> View tab -> Select Show Hidden Files and Folders.

Restart in safe mode (restart PC and keep tapping F8 on startup)

Rescan with Hijackthis and place a check beside these. Close all other windows, then click Fix Checked

Search for and delete the following files in bold

reboot back into normal mode and post a new Hijackthis log

i did exactly what u sed but i could find susp.exe bt i did a bit of research into this problem and i found out that a file named 'a' was involved in it and it ws related to runsrv32 as it was probably a duplicate as it had the same file size, i deleted both of them and here is the new hijackthis log:
