I have recently been having a few problems with this coolwwwsearch spyware/virus and am asking for some help please. I have spy-bot and ad-ware and have rune multiple scans with them but they provide only a temporary fix and then the same problems occur. I have downloaded and run Hijackthis and the following is my log. I am new to this so if there is anything I forgot to do or need to do different just ket me know. Thanks for all your help.

How to start computer in safe mode

reboot computer and post a new log

Here is the new logfile. Let me know if you see anything wrong with it. My homepage is reset to what it once was but I am still getting an anoying pop-up that says "only the best" in the title bar of the page. I did not see these prior to having this mshp.dll problem, do you think they are related. Thanks for your help thus far, it is greatly appreciated. I'll be looking for your next reply.

Have Hijack This fix the following by placing a check in the appropriate boxes and selecting fix checked. Make sure all browser and all Windows Explorer windows are closed before fixing.

R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = about:blank

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = about:blank

this is not spyware but is a resource hog and not needed in startup
O4 - Startup: Microsoft Office.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\OSA.EXE

O4 - Startup: PowerReg SchedulerV2.exe

Now reboot into safe mode and delete the following files and folders if found .

C:\WINDOWS\APPLICATION DATA\MSQO\MSIESH.DLL....del file and maybe the MSQO folder

to delete the above files and folder you will need to do the following
go to
Show hidden files & folders

"Fix Checked"...Reboot to SAFE mode to delete files
How to start computer in safe mode

reboot computer and post a new log

Here is the new log from today. The first four items in your list I did not see today when I ran the HT scanner. I did decide to go ahead and delete the entire MSQO folder because there was the MMSQO.dll file plus another twon that seemed somwhat simialar so I just decided to delete the entire contents as well. Hope this looks good and Ihave not been having any problems thus far. Thank you so much for your help. By the way if you see any other progrmas that may be using too much system resources let me know as well. Thanks, Gabe
