I have an oldish machine but it runs fedora (just). However, i got a new but old HDD so I could install more packages and decided just to reinstall. My rig is a server with 3 scsi drives (2gb each) and a 2gb IDE HDD. (new).

I am installing from text due to monitor issues and unlike in the graphical one, you cant choose which drive to to install GRUB to - its set to hda1 MBR.

Should grub be on sda1 instead? I cant change the boot order from the bios by the way Also, does /boot (as im using software raid 1 on the SCSI) need to be on a specific hdd.
