Hey everyone,

I'm trying to logon to our Unix machine through FTP. I can ping the ip of the machine and when I connect through our FTP software I get a Connected to x.x.x.x, waiting for server response.

This didn't seem to be a problem until I joined the computers to our w2k3 domain.

So can the Unix machines still connect to your FTP? If so, you may have a firewall problem. I would check that. You could also try using the ftp client to connect to an anonymous FTP server, and see if that works.

What about router problems? I'm not completely sure, but you may also want to check that out.
