I installed Ubuntu, and there was a cursor. Then I went and changed my resolution in the terminal to 1440x900 and now it doesn't show up. My mouse still works, but there is no cursor. It did the same thing for my USB mouse and my traditional mouse. Please help.

Sounds like you broke your Xserver codnfiguration file by changing the res. Go to a text console by holding down control+alt + f2 and then use dpkg to reconfigure your X server.

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

the wizard will ask you for your resolution, type of mouse. colour depth etc....

after it is done push control+alt+f7 to get back to the graphical environment then restart X by holding down control+alt+backspace

Thanks! That worked :)

Glad to have helped ;)
