Does anyone know when/if Apple will be coming out with SAS drives for the Mac Pro? The raid cards that they're currently putting in the machines are dual SATA/SAS raid cards, although only SATA drives are currently available. This is the one thing I'm waiting on before getting a Mac Pro.

I've made some noise about it, but mostly got a bunch of blank stares from my higher-ups. I did manage to find them on the site (300GB for $999), but like most things Apple, you might be able to do better by going aftermarket.

Looks like somebody listened. 300GB SAS drives are now options for the Mac Pro for $800 per
