hi everyone,
as im new to os i was wondering can i install mac on my laptop. My laptop is toshiba with xp home edition installed. If yes I have some questions:
1. Is the os free? if free which website can i download it from? if i have to buy it which one is the cheapest?
2. would i be able to use usb based wireless internet?
3. Would i be able to use java (for programming) and netbeans?

01) You can't install Mac OS X in your PC. You can install it Only in a Machintosh.
02) This OS is not FREE. For more info goto http://www.apple.com/macosx/
03) You can use the USB based Wireless Internet, Provided it supports Mac Machines.
04) You can use and run Java programs. Just check http://www.java.com/

I mean to say legally it is not possible unless you have a mac.
But it is possible to install Mac OS X in Intel machines. (x86) {illegal}

You can install Micro$oft's Virtual PC in MAC and use all Windows Hardwares in MAC OS.
