So, similar to past threads I have a disappearing volume, but also drives and partitions. It is a SW RAID across three drives. I can use the ls /volumes command and see the drives, I can go to folder /volumes and see them. I can not see them in Disk Utility. I have tried this:
sudo chflags nohidden /Volumes/Data
to no avail.

The three drives are interal, along with the system drive, on a MaxPro running up to date ML. It had worked for many months on Lion, and has worked fine under ML for many weekes. One day it just disppeared. I can view the contents using above commands fine. Just amazed that those commands can see what Disk Utility can not.

Sugestions?

I would check and see if you can see the partitions.

fdisk -l
and if you are running adaptec cotrollers your should be able to query the controller for information:

/usr/Storman/arcconf getconfig 1
