Hello,

I don't think the Lexmark X1180 is officially compatible with Mac OS X. If you'll look on Lexmark's website, you can see that X1180 is not listed in the Mac OS X compatible printers list. And of course, you'll need drivers to run the printer. I may be wrong, but if so, I can't seem to find where you would download the drivers.

[edit] Whoops, I found out somewhere that as long as you selected the Lexmark drivers as an install option on Mac OS X, you'll have the driver needed to communicate with the X1180. Use Printer Setup Utility to install the printer.

hi,
thanx, well there is a driver, and my mac communicates with t the machine,
i can scan with it, the images come onto the mac fine,
it is just in Priniting that nothing comes...

it just says "printer not responding".
:(
