hi all,

sorry if this is the wrong place to post this - i couldn't anywhere more suitable...

i have made some fairly complicated diagrams in powerpoint 2007 using line art. i then save the graphic as an emf file and import it into my main word document. these emf files look great on-screen (in both word and powerpoint), but when i print some of them they are royally buggered and have strange black patches all over. i've printed them on different printers and using powerpoint XP but the same problem still happens! even more bizarre is that some of the emf diagrams that I made in powerpoint are fine and print as they should in word. I find emf files to otherwise work fine for me, as they don't seem to get pixelated as easily upon resizing.

Any ideas on how to get rid of the problem that causes these images to print so strangely?

(I've posted links to the pptx file (http://www.mediafire.com/?kdhxewd2zzn) and its emf (http://www.mediafire.com/?de9k5dddj40) that causes problems just in case)

Thanks!

the problem seem to point to the printer you are using. the printer head might need to be clean. or you might have to embed the pictures as jpg.
