Hi All. When I try to install the following:
Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - July 2008 (KB890830)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB951748)
Update for Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 (KB952142)
Update for Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 Junk Email Filter (KB953463)
Security Update for SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2 (KB948109)
I can no longer get on line.

I have Microsoft XP Professional and Service Pk 2.

Any ideas?

Further to this, when I downloaded:
Security Update for Windows XP (KB951748)
on it's own it caused the problem.

Please help/advise if possible. Thanks.

Yeah, it happened to me as well, but I just removed it and everything is well again! This used to happen with some of the older updates as well, but microsoft sent along some patch to fix this later on, so I wouldn't worry about getting this patch right now. Hope it helped.

Thank you amrith92. You have helped. Just knowing that someone else has the identical problem is very useful. Also, knowing that removing the offending download causes no adverse consequence is reassuring. Thanks again for replying.
