I am totally confused on how to handle can any of you help?

Is the internet connection wired or wireless?

its sporatic., its WIRED...its a very inconsistant problem sometimes it runs fine then OTHERS i have to re start..I do virus scan and I believe the machine is clean..

Which Antivirus are you using?? Which Browser??
