i have tried all i know how to do! i have a wireless router for my desk top and i have a connection on my laptop but can not get it to browse the internet. what should i do?
I have had this problem a few times too and the solution may sound trivial. But have you tried re-booting your laptop? That usually fixes the wireless network connection issues on my machine.

you should give us a bit more info as to what happens when you try to surf the internet .
also go to run, type in cmd , in the command prompt type this
ping www.google.com , note a space between ping and www
post back what you get as results of the ping
