I have a Dell Laptop with Win 7 and a desk top with Win XP Professional. I also have a Blekin Easy Transfer cable & S/ware. I have only been able to transfer small files to the C drive. I have lots of room on the D drive but I can't find where to specily the destination drive. Please help.

last time i used a transfer cable was about 6 yrs ago ,and i know that i had to install the device/software on both computers and open it on both and then i would get a windows explorer like window on both screens and navigate to a destination drive and folder and just a drag and drop type action to transfer the file.
you say c: and d: were is d: located.

is this the software that you are using .

Thanks for your help. I think I have sorted out the problem. The Software I have is from Belkin, but it does not need to be installed on the Win 7 computer. Win 7 already has the necessary transfer software.
