Like it does on Windows Xp when you hit Start->Turn Off->and wait for a few seconds. Everything turns greyscale. I would like to make this a permanent thing, cause it looks cool. Anyone can help? My monitor is samsung 540n. Thanks!

Hi,

For xp press Alt+Shift and Print Screen (or prt sc) on your keepboard then a window should pop-up saying you press these keys then press yes.
It will go to high contrast, im sure its close enough to what you looking for.
To turn of press the same keys and will will go back to normal.

Hi, try this:

1. Right click on ''My Computer" and select "Properties"
2. Click on "Advanced" tab
3. Under "Performance", click on "Settings"
4. In the new window named "Performance Options", click on "Visual Effects" and select "Adjust for best performance". Finally click on OK.

Now everything would be almost grey. But web sites and icons would still be appearing in colors.

Note: This also helps you increase system speed. All the best!!

turn the moniter off!
