struggling to enter desktop in windows xp

i cann't enter into d system.recently i reinstalled it.if i go in safemode iam gettin so many line like tis only the file name .sys changes.
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\windows\system32\drivers\mup.sys

wat is tis line meant for? how to solve tis?

When booting into safe mode you will always get those lines. It's basically the system loading up all the drivers and the such. it does the same when you boot into normal mode you just don't see it.

But as for not being able to load into Windows. does it lock up somewhere? does it reboot? does it give you any sort of error message?
Also, when you boot into safe mode is it stopping on that screen with the multidisk lines on it?

I totally just realized when this was posted. You probably have this fixed by now don't you.....:-P

try to repair your windows, using your windows xp installer,, follow the instruction there...
