Hi,

I have a router through which I set up RDP connections. There are only XP machines and when I connect to one of them I can see the normal blue RDP window and after a few seconds the session disconnects and if I try connecting immediately there is an error message:

"The remote session was disconnected because another user has connected to the session"

If I wait a few seconds and try again then it works.

Could this be a virus? There are 2 other machines and there is no problems connecting to them first time which would indicate to me there is no problem - maybe - with the router.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

My first guess is that the computers have autologon enabled. You could check out this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947714

If that doesn't solve the problem, we will need some more information. Let us know either way...

Good Luck

Hi techsheaven,

Sorry for the late reply.
