Virus won't let me connect to internet!

Hello!

My brother was using my laptop the other day and downloaded this "Win PC Defender" nasty. I thought i got rid of it, and i no longer see it, but now im unable to access the internet, and when I try to use Malwarebytes', it won't even load up. I can't do a system restore, and I'm pretty much out of options. I can't seem to find my reinstallation disks, which ill just have to get from dell if I can't find a way to get this fixed! If someone could help me it would be greatly appreicated! I Have a HJT log which is as follows:

Hi and welcome to the Daniweb forums :).

Delete the MBA-M installation file that is on your pc at present.
Go back to download MBA-M again. Click on the link to download it. Select the "Save" option.
When the panel pops up to ask you where you wish to save the file, before choosing where, rename the file. I chose "bambam" in my screenshot just as an example,
Once you have saved it, try again to install it.

You should post the MBA-M log and a NEW HJT log for Crunchie to take a look at. Everything may not be removed and other steps may be required.

Both Crunchie and myself requested that new MBA-M log. Everything may not be removed and other steps may be required.

All i really did was use the advice given, was was to rename the MBA file, and scan my computer. From there I was finally able to do a system restore, at which point I restored my system back to the day before the virus got on my computer. That was pretty much it.

And WHERE is the MBA-M log that two of us now have each asked for twice? There should have been NO reason for System Restore. Using System Restore WILL NOT remove infections. It may LOOK as if they are gone but basically all that does is roll back to a time before the infection may have entered the machine but it does NOT correct changes or remove additions done by the infection it will just make it harder to find and also can cause your system or programs to be unstable. It is NEVER recommended to use System Restore to remove infections.

What is so hard about running the scan and posting the log? We will NOT say the computer is clean UNTIL we see the logs done which REMOVED the infection and a NEW Full System Scan with MBA-M.

There is NO MBA-M log on this thread. The only logs posted are HiJackThis logs.

i also cant log on the internet. my window Protector keeps turning off after every reset/shutdown but when i turn it back on it says everything is OK!
i couldnt finish scanning my computer with MalawareByte after the scanners log, thats when malaware byte crash'd (wasnt responding) during the scan, it also made a error (i didnt took note)
but it continued to scan after hitting ok.
