I just found a good tutorial to remove this crappy adblaster here - it helped me a lot
but I have other problems. I don't know if it is really about spyware, but it is just strange and annoying.
sometimes when I play games, my screen turns suddenly blue with in white written information why the comp has to be restarted. it says it is a hardware problem. I though that could be right - but then suddenly it happen although I didn't play any game.
and what reallly worries me is that I have got the same screen some days ago but it said: windows logon service was turned off unexpected.

sorry for my bad english I'm a 14 year old german.
I'll post a hijackthis file, maybe some specialists here see something :)

Hi Quitahd, welcome to DaniWeb :D

Your English is pretty good :)

First thing to do is right-click on your desktop, and select New, Folder. Give the new folder a name (like HJT or HijackThis), and then drag the hijackthis.exe icon that is on your desktop into this new folder.

Now, scan with hijackthis and have it fix the following entries:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Connection Wizard,ShellNext = http://www.adblaster2.info/ace100.htm
R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing

Close any open windows, other then hijackthis, before hitting Fix checked.

That is the only thing I see in your log. Reboot, close any open browser windows, scan with hijackthis, and post a new log.

Is there an error code with the message on the blue screen? Can you tell us exactly what the message says?

oh thanks for the fast reply :cheesy:
well, the two processes are killed.
but do you know why I get this blue screen with white letters sometimes?
and another problem is that after I entered my password, it takes long till I can see my desktop. I can't imagine it needs so long time to load. and it wasn't always like this.
and my comp has 1 gb ram and 2,4 ghz processor - it should be fast enough.

but this here is a cool and helpful forum :)

Can you please post a new hijackthis log and also do the following;

Go here and download and run Silent Runners.vbs. It generates a log, please post the information back in this thread.

Download rkfiles.zip
http://skads.org/special/rkfiles.zip
Unzip the contents to a permanent folder.

Reboot in Safe mode.

Doubleclick rkfiles.bat
It will scan for a while, so please be patient.
Wait till the DOS window closes and reboot back to normal mode.

To save some time, could you please have all the files that rkfiles finds uploaded for an online scan here;

http://virusscan.jotti.org/

Post the contents of C:\log.txt in your next reply.

norton antivirus says that silent runners.vbs is some kind of a virus

I'll now try the reboot and try that rkfiles.

well, after clicking the bat the dos window pops up for less than once second.
I'm not sure what to do now.

that came out with silent runners.

Sorry that I didn't reply for such a long time.
During this time, I reinstalled everything and I formatted my harddrive. I have Norton Personal Firewall, Norton AntiSpam and Norton AntiVirus now.
Everything seemed to work fine - then I installed Service Pack 2 - and I have got my bluescreen problem again. So I decided to remove SP 2 but the bluescreens kept coming.

I don't know how to fix that problem, I already did some research about bluescreens in the web.

here is another HiJackthis log - I don't know much about this, but for me it looks...not good.

I hope you can help me.

thanks in advance :)

Cannot see much in that log. Perhaps a system restore would be your best option at this time?

restore? you mean formatting everything again?
no I don't think this would help.

No, he didn't mean format again, he meant to use System Restore to return your system to a point when it was working properly. Here are instructions for using System Restore:

I have a couple of other suggestions as well. Since you're using Norton's firewall, you should disable the XP firewall -- that could be causing your problem.

Also, a reformat may help if you install SP2 before installing Norton (or use something other then Norton), but you will still need to disable the XP firewall, as you should only have one software firewall running.

Note: if you have a broadband connection, you should also have a hardware firewall.

I did a big research and found out that these bluescreens can happen cause of ram memory.
so I made a ramtest and it really found 2 errors.
I wasn't really sure what to do. I opened my comp and changed the ram memorys places.
My comp runs since then (6 hours ago) and not one single crash happened.

Cool. Thank you for getting back to us with this information :).

No problem I'm happy that I found this forums here :)
