Hi
can anyone help?
yesterday i encountered a problem with my home pc and found that a file "iottem.dll" has found it's way into my system. i have tracked it down but can't delete it all it says is " access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or wrute protected and that the file is not currently in use"

There is also in the same file "perflib_perfdata_5f4.dat" which i can't delete either. this says that this programme is in use too?

Awaiting in hope
Many thanks

This lounge isn't really the correct forum for troubleshooting issues. Tell me which version of Windows you're using, and then I can move it to the appropriate forum.

how does one post a trouble shooting treat?
