I picked up a trojan..thought I got rid of it. Now my desktop icons are displayed behind the wallpaper. I am able to use browser because I started browser before the icons went away. I have a Windows XP system. HELP Please!
In Task manager, I do new task: explorer.ece ..this helps for while..I have to do it a few times. But seems to help.
Is it video driver..?

right click on desk top, select properties, then desktop, choose none, then choose screen saver and choose none, then choose appearence and change to something other than what your using. if that doesn't work, see the virus and spyware removal forums.
