when I restart my laptop(windows xp) I get a screen:
"Checking file system on C:
The type of the file system is NTFS"
it happened continuously 4 times when i turned on the computer.
Can anyone help me with this.

Jump to PostRun scandisk from within windows and that should stop it.

yes it boots into windows....and works fine
