Hi,
sorry for making new thread but i need help with my old computer. It was everytime use only for making with Txt files etc... now i want to play music on it and it plays faster... i have ac 97 soundchip and i know i need new driver but i tried 10 different drivers and it still plays faster pls some1 can give me link for correct? heres parameters of computer from Everest. Thanks a lot

mby it is becouse there is service pack 1 what u think?

no that shouldn't affect it ,go into bios/setup when booting computer and make sure onboard sound is inabled .
my othere suggestion would be to get a internal pci sound card and add it into computer

so i ran bios there is Compaq audio device enabled IRQ 10 u think when i give there sound card from computer wht i bought 2 years ago it will work?

yeah,if you have a pci sound card from another computer ,with correct drivers it should work
