actually iam using windows server 2008 inside vmware workstation 8 beta. Now i want to connect two different networks with windows 2008 as router.so for that i physically have one nic in my pc.so for connecting two different networks i should have two nic virtually in vmware how to do that???

So it depends on where these networks are. If you want to route two different networks within VMWare guests, one NIC on the host is OK. You would simply add multiple virtual NICs that the guest OS can use. If you are trying to route between the virtual guests and the host network, again, one NIC is fine. What you need to do is enable RRAS on the Windows 2008 server.

If you can elaborate on which networks you want to route between, more detailed information can be provided.
