Windows 7 installer wont work

Guys Good Day.
I am trying to figure out how to reformat our computer using windows 7 but it seems that i did not succeed on my first attempt.
My classmate gave me a dvd, installer and i did the things that the tutorial told me to do but then
when i reached 54% on "expandin window files" i keep on getting this:

windows cannot install required files. the files may be corrupt or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available and restart the installation Error code: 0x80070570

please help me! and
PS: i dont know if that cd was original or pirated!

This seems most likely to be a problem with the DVD--maybe scratches or gunk on it.

As experience has taught me, error 0x80070570 is usually caused by bad ISO's downloaded or bad burns to DVD's. If the DVD was just a burned copy, try burning it again using the slowest possible speed as this usually avoids errors during the process.

Definately a problem with the media.
