Setup is a follows:

DSL Modem ~> Netgear WGR614v9 ~> most computers (wifi) and one Cisco E1000 running DDWRT as an extender for a desktop to avoid buying another wifi card (no money).

The problem I am running into is everything works great on the 196.168.1.x protocol for a few hours to a few days, and then the Netgear switches itself to 10.0.0.1 ip and when I log in to the router I see a message that there was a conflict with the ISP and the address had to be changed.

Is there any way to prevent the Netgear from switching to the 10.0.0.x protocol? I cant get the E1000 to work on the 10.0.0.x protocol either or I would just run with that.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
