i have 3 computers set up on a network which worked fine until recently i was forwarding some ports on the router for a video game and set up static ip's for 2 of the computers i got the game to work online on one computer and was trying to set up the second one the same way and now i cant connect to the internet through my router i cant even get back to my router to change the settings back i tryed changing the static ips back to dynamic and tryed resting the router by holding the reset button down for the amount of time explained in the instructions i am on windows xp and my router is intellinet active networking wireless router model 512666 [IMG]http://forums.pcpitstop.com/style_emoticons/default/crash.gif[/IMG] please feel free to ask more questions so i can help u help me [IMG]http://forums.pcpitstop.com/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif[/IMG]

Try setting up just one pc with the router after you reset it. Check all the lights are working. make sure if you have a firewall on pc that it is off temporarily. set the machine for DHCP as this will be default on the router. If you get a LAN connection try pinging the router if not check cables. Also check the lights network card on pc. If you still can't connect see if you can send it back
