I have a hard disk which is 80gb in size, but when I open disk management I can only see 74.5 gb. can someone help me know why?. And is there a way to fix that? And is my hard disk dying? I have tried to run chkdsk but nothing. I really need your assistance

The "missing" 5.5GB is probably a hidden partition that contains backup files for your computer.
I would not concern myself.

Evenif your hard disk has Xgb only about 90% will be available.
Don't worry about that

Hello,

There isn't a problem with your hard drive its the way manufacturers make their disks.
If you look at the size of the disk there should be about 80,000,000,000 bytes. Manufacturers usually call 1GB 1,000,000,000 bytes.
