Exactly my main board is MCP61PM-am rev 1.0a.
I try to search on support for beep code but they don't have the code for continuous beep,
I seach other place they say this main board is awards type and cont can try to reset the settiing.so i tried switch jump, take off battery but still happen.
Can some one give me solution ?
Please don't comment if you don't have a solution.
I did take off most of part of the pc. Only chipset and ram. mainboard have graphic onboard.
Jump to PostContinuous Beep can be CPU error, like 1 pin not connected, or a few pin's short circuited.
Check if the CPU is seated properly in the socket, or maybe try with another cpu if you have a spare.

For Award bios ,one long beep is ram problem ,
one long beep that changes pitch .high and low is cpu .
