My PC System was running but their is no monitor display/black monitor

When you turn your computer on, does it sound like it is working, do you hear a beep (or beeps?) and the fan(s)?

Have you made any changes to your computer recently? If so, please tell us about these changes.

Make sure all of the cables are properly connected, that they haven't become loose or disconnected.

If this doesn't fix your problem can you tell us more about your PC, please? We need information such as the Brand (Dell?) and model number. Also, please tell us about your monitor.

If you built this PC, or someone built it for you, when was it built and what make and model motherboard and graphics card does it have?
