Directory Submission is really a useful tool for Internet marketing and provide good value to website but if its done by really good and professional hands. Their are number of directories which have been spammed by various search engines; if some one is not capable to identify them than this submission may harm your website. Be careful!

Directories were an "in" thing back a few years ago until search engine spiders caught on and revamped their algorithms to put more weight on directories that are relevant to the content of the site. Something to keep in mind.
