Chances are that newly built website never recieve search traffic. This is because Google & other search engine normally index new website as from 6 months upwards.
But, there is an alternative way to make google index your site within 2 weeks instead of 6 months so that you start getting search engine traffic.

For fast indexing, increase your back linking with quality & related sites. Submit your directory in quality directories, make blogs etc..
Submit website in google maps.
There is also such a thing called pinging, and you can do this to make the indexing process faster. It send signals to other sites that you aer making an update on your site so might as well try it. Some sites get ot be indexed even before two weeks with this one.
