I scanned my system with Malwarebytes today and located the directories of several viruses. I used NotePad++ to open the executable files and deleted all the code written therein and saved the change to the virus. I proceeded to delete the viruses with Malwarebytes; but, I wondered, had I left the viruses changed with no code, would they still be able to execute their program?

My thought is, no. But, I would like to get a better understanding why or why not from those who understand computer viruses.

The name of one virus specifically, Trojan.Happili, if that helps.

Adding a video card will certainly improve the overall graphics performance. But the A10-5800K leaves you with a processor that has the ability to process both system and graphics. Add the GT610 for sure, but consider switching your A10 to an AMD FX series processor, which is a dedicated CPU; that will ensure you are getting the most performance from your system.

Free time for me is between semesters of school. Presently, I have been learning Power Shell, in order to learn Python, in order to learn C (or at least have a good understanding) by the time fall semester starts. I also, work on the yard (I like to keep my lawn lush and beautiful), care for my pregnant wife, and play with my two awesome kids. They really are awesome.
