I'm running Windows 2000 on a Compaq E500 laptop. I ran Adaware and Spybot Search and Destroy. Ithen installed Firefox and tried to connect to the internet. The connection is there but I cannot access any pages. I uninstalled Firefox and tried again with Internet Explorer with the same result. …
