doesn't seem to be working that well for me using Opera. For the last week maybe, I am having to gesture or click twice on the back arrow to go back a page, but only on some pages here. I see the progress bar flicker as it attempts to obey the command, but nothing happens. I have to then repeat the command for the page to go back. This does not happen when I am viewing who's online, but seems to behave that way in all other areas. Were any changes made that would account for this behaviour? No problems …

My thread reply notifications are very hit and miss lately. Sometimes I will get them, but mostly I don't. This has been an ongoing problem for me for a while. I may reply to half a dozen threads and get notification from maybe 1 or 2. Any ideas?

Just looking in my profile, there is 1 current negative post showing, but when I try to view it, I get a 'Sorry, no matches' message. Can anyone else bring it up?

Due to a bug in Malwarebytes, you may see in MBAM's log following entries: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\atapi (Rootkit) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Services\atapi (Rootkit) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\atapi (Rootkit) DO NOT remove those entries! If you do, your computer will become UN-bootable. The issue has been fixed in the latest MBAM update, so, please make sure you update MBAM before you run it.

If you ever were asked on this forum to run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, please read: http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=6105
It has come to our attention that a critical bug existed between Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware version 1.00 and version 1.25. Has anything changed on the site over the last 8 hours or so? 6pm GMT +9 atm. I just upgraded to Opera 9.25 from Opera 9.2 and now every page here shows all the html code at the top and I have to scroll for ages to get to the normal setup. Also, when I use the quick reply I get an error and my message does not post. I change to advanced and do it again and I get a message that this is a duplicate. Anyone just upgraded Opera who can confirm?

Using the Opera browser I am finding that the thumb shots are staying open after passing over links. The only way I can get rid of it is to refresh the page. Anyone else experiencing this in Opera?

Please download the latest version of hijackthis from here; http://www.majorgeeks.com/download5554.html If you have an older version installed, uninstall it first from add/remove programs.

To all first time hijackthis log posters. Please bookmark this forum before or after posting your problem to ensure you are able to once again locate your thread. Please, if you intend to post, reply to any help given as it can be quite frustrating to spend a lot of time analysing your log to find that it has possibly been a waste of time and effort. DO NOT HIJACK OTHER MEMBERS THREADS PLEASE. Thank you all for your co-operation and understanding :).

Having a few problems in the hijackthis forum with the way logs are being formatted. http://www.daniweb.com/techtalkforums/thread66064.html The only way to read them is to "Reply with Quote" and the log is then rendered correctly in the reply box. Any chance of getting this sorted please? :).

There has been an update to Spybot that will fix the bug it contains regarding the DSO exploit. All those who are running Spybot S&D 1.3 Final can download it here.

Hi all. Running W2K Pro. Roughly once a month when I click to dial-up to the net, I find that the username and password has changed. Instead of the username being *********@***.com.au it is just ********* and the password field is blank. I reset it by typing in the correct info and all is well again for about a month and it does it again. Does anyone know a solution to this please?

Hi all. For those of you who require assistance, please help us to help you by making certain that hijackthis is installed in a permanent folder. You can create a new folder on your desktop and move hijackthis into it. Alternatively, create a new folder in C:\Program Files so you have C:\Program Files\Hijackthis\Hijackthis.exe The reason for this is that, most times you, the member, will be asked to clear out your temporary folders after the 'fix' has been completed. Having hijackthis in a temp folder means that both it and the backups it creates, will be deleted. It will also …

I need help in a hurry. I have been working on a friends Win95 PC removing CWS and untold other crapware. Just when I thought I had it, most of the icons on the desktop lost their color and sharpness along with other icons in the start menu etc. I had altered the settings from 256 colours to 16 colours, then changed it back. How can I get the colour back ppl? Thanks.
