i have a cd-r disk with one movie file avi.and two norton ghost's 2003.and 2004.and alcohol 120%.when i put the cd-r into the cd rom it spins for about a minute or so and then it stops and does nothing.when i check in my d.drive nothing showes up its like …

i have service pack 1a on a disk i would like to know if i can install it and make it work instead of taking 4 houres downloading the update with a dialup connection.eny help would be appreciated....

i just download AIM 5.5 which i can not stand. ive been trying to get back to AIM 5.2 but when i go to sites to download it it redirects me to the new version. does anyone know how i can get back to version 5.2?

I feel it is a security issue although could not find the culprit in the 5 minutes I had to do so. Any ideas?? This is a fresh install of XP with all updates including SP1. Microsoft Virtual Machine not installed!!
