Hi, I am wondering does anyone know any libraries for flex to do microsoft wordart or openoffice fontwork. I saw a website that was done in flash that had text wordart effects. The website is and here is a link to their design studio in flash

The text have wordart type effects that you can do. I am wondering does anyone know how to do those type of stuff?

Thx, i figure out I could do that. Never knew you can do that before.

Hi. I have this problem

Group by will make the table only show a value of that group once.

So lets say there was 1000 results without group by.
500 with a single group by.

But now i want to do another group by to filter it down more to like 250 results

However if you try to do group by group1,group2 it ends up with more results like 700 because it group1 and group2 together is now a unique trigger not filter by one and filter by the other.

So anyway to do something like this?
SELECT * FROM ordermain,orderlogos WHERE ordermain.hiddenkey = orderlogos.hiddenkey AND ordermain.orderstatus = 'Order Completed' AND ordermain.potentialrepeatstatus != 'Never' GROUP BY ordermain.hiddenkey
however now i still need to get group by to also group the orderlogos.filename and orderlogos.dstfilename

It seems like if i do comas to group by it doesnt filter 3 times. it makes a fitler of all 3 together is unique by I want 3 groups of uniques

Hi, I am wondering is there a solution to do this type of problem.

I would want to release a list of queries that only show only orders that does not match each other.

For a order to match it will be companyname from different hiddenkey are the same and all logos of a hiddenkey match the other hiddenkey.

I am not good with sql commands. so I not sure is there a way to do a filter like that
What is the DIFFERENCE in CSS2, CSS3? I always heard those CSSs but still no idea?

Thanks for the HELP!
different versions of css.

Just have more features added to high versions. So a website might not look right if it uses css 3 stuff and the web browser does not support it

So. who here can solve all of this?

This website have many challenges testing your skills of logic and programming. Some is quite hard and hard to find solutions on google.

I am almost a javascript master on that website. but didnt figure out four of the javascript yet.

Mostly becuase they have to do with crypto.

There was even one that required making AI to find the correct website end.

Tons of challenges there.

Well use java. You won't get anymore pointer problems with java. Unless java does have pointers. Ya. I get confused sometimes when coding in differnet programming languages. Trying to use functions that are not there or variables the wrong way.

I found a cool hardware called Novint Falcon. It enables a new type of force feedback. Allowing you to feel bumps, textures, and other cool stuff like gun recoil.

It is hard to describe the controller but I am on the preorder list for their black falcon version. is their website. Check out the videos of it.

When i get my hand on one. I am going to see if I can program mods to support it for older games.

Vista is good. People that hate vista have older hardware it seems like.

I have problems with vista but it all get solved. Vista works as well as xp just got to get use to it.

word of warning. tons of this free service will remove files if not active.

So did you format the comp with the preloaded xp cd? Make sure you boot from the cd to format.

be sure to use another computer when trying to recover. you dont want to write data to the part your trying to recover.

I would say format your laptop with a xp sp3 stripstreamed cd. Most likely the laptop got something bad that is wasting cpu cycles also 4 year old laptop might mean your system registry got a lot of leftover junk from uninstalled programs.

Formatting is the best way to gain speed back to your old laptop
Did you read through some of the work-arounds mentioned in that bug report to translate the color space?
ya but the work round use other stuff i dont even know so i cant even use those functions

well i can't figure out how to do this.

using jai i can read the jpg but cant get the colors rigth.

I also tried

PlanarImage inImage = JAI.create("fileload",SharedData.WRITELOCATION + (String) theorder.get("ordertype") + "Data\" + String.valueOf((Integer) theorder.get("hiddenkey")) + "\logos\cappreview\" + (String) theorder.getItem(item).get("previewfilename"));
BufferedImage realimage = inImage.getAsBufferedImage();

the color isnt right for this too.

well i found a code that uses jai but the returned byte array image color isnt right.

public static BufferedImage convertCMYKtoRGB(byte[] ba) throws Exception {

    int[] bitsCMYK = {8, 8, 8, 8};
    ICC_ColorSpace csCMYK = new ICC_ColorSpace(ICC_Profile.getInstance(SharedData.WRITELOCATION + "images\\pdf\\"));

    ColorModel colorModelCMYK = new ComponentColorModel(csCMYK, bitsCMYK, false, false, java.awt.Transparency.OPAQUE, DataBuffer.TYPE_BYTE);
    ImageLayout cmykLayout = new ImageLayout();
    RenderingHints rh = new RenderingHints(JAI.KEY_IMAGE_LAYOUT, cmykLayout);

    ByteArraySeekableStream bais = new ByteArraySeekableStream(ba);
    ParameterBlock params = new ParameterBlock();
    RenderedOp op = JAI.create("stream", params, rh);

    ColorSpace csRGB = null;
    csRGB = ColorSpace.getInstance(ColorSpace.CS_sRGB);
    ColorModel colorModel = new ComponentColorModel(csRGB, bitsCMYK, false, false, java.awt.Transparency.OPAQUE, DataBuffer.TYPE_BYTE);
    ImageLayout il = new ImageLayout();
    il.setSampleModel(colorModel.createCompatibleSampleModel(op.getWidth(), op.getHeight()));
    RenderingHints hints = new RenderingHints(JAI.KEY_IMAGE_LAYOUT, il);
    ParameterBlock pb = new ParameterBlock();

    il = new ImageLayout();
    il.setSampleModel(colorModel.createCompatibleSampleModel(op.getWidth(), op.getHeight()));
    hints = new RenderingHints(JAI.KEY_IMAGE_LAYOUT, il);

    RenderedOp opNeu = JAI.create("ColorConvert", pb, hints);

    BufferedImage img = opNeu.getAsBufferedImage();
    return img;

i see the libraries. but still no clue where to start

all I want is to read a image to a BufferedImage of a jpeg with cmyk

if not possible than I would most likely go by converting a image with some class than make that class output the image into a bytearray stream.

looking at jaiimageio but not sure can i use it to convert a image.

TheBuzzer 5 Junior Poster in Training does not work for jpgs in cmyk

trying to find a method to read it been searching on google but found lot of different results. Maybe one of you know a easy method to do this.
common man , we are like to help you !

TheBuzzer : you did something nasty ! that makes the ppl lazy . I have added more rep to my account because taling like these issues . anyway doesn't matter.

zoooz_20: That is no matter that you finish the homework or not . Your ProfeSxor is not a evil and just dont worry about yur homework , but dont give up your challange

now explain where did you stuck . with the source codes and everything ! post in detail
is really a not problem , but showing the layzyness or the stupidness is really a problem in a form like this .

zoo: try this out , and post where did you stuck ?
his prob trying to figure out how to get my code to work now. Most likely he won't come back here until he got another question.

Well i decided to do his homework, but in jsp because I was bored. BTW don't think professors does not check here so copy cat code will make you fail the class

int numbertoreach = 6;

for (int i = 1; i <= numbertoreach; i++)
for (int j = 1; j <= i; j++)

int oddtoreach = 19;
int sum = 0;
for (int i = 1; i <= oddtoreach; i+=2)
sum += i;

for (int i = 1; i <= 50; i++)
if (i%5 == 0)
out.print("OK ");
else if (i%11 == 0)
out.print("FINE ");
out.print(i + " ");

String input = "5 8 7 1 12 10 78 14 5 32 15";
String[] onedemensionarray = input.split(" ");
for (int i = onedemensionarray.length-1; i >= 0; i--)
out.print(onedemensionarray[i] + " ");

int arraywidth = 10;
int arrayheight = 10;
int[][] twodemensionarray = new int[arraywidth][arrayheight];
// Fill the array with random values
for (int i = 0; i < arraywidth; i++)
for (int j = 0; j < arrayheight; j++)
twodemensionarray[i][j] = (int)(Math.random()*10);

// Output current array
for (int i = 0; i < arraywidth; i++)
for (int j = 0; j < arrayheight; j++)
out.print(twodemensionarray[i][j] + " ");

// Output where 0 are
for (int i = 0; i < arraywidth; i++)
for ...

easy, get a job.

wow it compiled in Pascal

well for me. I think web 2.0 means sites that use ajax.

Load more context without reloading the whole webpage.

TheBuzzer 5 Junior Poster in Training

Which one do you perfer to use?

For me I am using glassfish becuase netbeans installed it for me.
Also I heard glassfish support newer java api while tomcat doesnt

can u return something in a void

I don't think that code will even compile.
