I am looking for something similiar to dedicated hosting. I plan on my database and web server being shared, but i need an application to run as an import every 10 min and haven't found on hosting providers that will offer this without an expensive dedicated hosting plan. Also to add this is a .net application, so I need a windows server. Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks in advance Keith

Is it possible to have a dynamic operator? I know I could parse it out and find the symbol just wondered if it was possible.
string aString = "5"; int a = 5; int b = 6; string op = "<"; //want to do something like dynamically without checking the value of op if( a op b) //want to use the same thing like this Int32.TryParse(aString, out a); Operator.TryParse(op, out );
just need to create my own class to do this? or is there somthing i am forgetting appreciate your help

Has anyone noticed sometimes you'll receive an email after someone has posted to a subscribed thread right away, while other times it may take a few hours to receive the email?

I am determining what method to call by using the runtime class. My problem is whenever I pass in a null object, obviously it will throw a null reference exception. How are you able to determine at runtime the class of a null object. Although its null i need to do further processing, and woud rather not pass in type as a parameter to the method. Here's an example
public void test(){ Long nullLong = null; addParameter(nullLong); } public void addParameter(Object value) { String parameterType = value.getClass().getName(); //do some stuff here with parameterType }
Does anyone have any experience using Instant Virtual Office. http://ivoapp.com I have an application that reads from HKCU, which runs fine on w2k, w2k3, and w2k8 servers, but it fails to read the HKCU when running on the IVO server. I haven't been able to find any development document for this server infrastructure and wondered if anyone here has some experience dealing with it? Thanks
