Solved it !

it's the javascript !

in the original javascript i needed to change the second onclick function to this
image.onclick = function()
{
var iFrame = document.getElementById('InlineFrame1');
if(iFrame)
iFrame.src = this.url;
};
imageflow can now be used as a navigation menu !
thanks to kbrunner and essential for help on this ! awesome !
learnt an awful lot here so far, thanks again !:icon_smile:

Hey thanks for helping out again, really appreciate it :)

Full content for this menu system is here .. inc css / js / etc

My aim is to use this as a navigation menu
So when you click on an image it opens the assigned webpage in the inline frame specified.
Is this going to be possible to do whilst keeping the ability to add or remove the images/links as required in the html ?

It's the sort of thing that someone like yourself could probably finish in about 10mins hehe where as its taken me a week so far :-/

Hope you will be able to get all the info from the link above to help solve this once and for all.

Thanks again in advance,

Kookies.

Hi,

essential kindly helped in getting a javascript imageflow menu to display pictures inside an inline frame. Problem i have is that everything is displaying wrong on the page.

Here's what i have currently code wise, i most likely have things in the wrong places i.e divs ?
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01Transitional//EN">

Untitled Page div#container { position: absolute; left: 50%; top: 50%; width: 800px; height: 600px; margin-top: -300px; margin-left: -400px; } Loading images
...

Ok cool , will do , thanks again youve got me a step further to getting everything finished:)

seeing as youve helped me so much so far would it be possible to email you a zip or rar of what i have ? its very simple , just one page with 4 small images ?

You are the first person i have found in 2 weeks that has given me any decent advice and help:)

it seems to move everything when i move the code about , here's what ive got .
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01Transitional//EN">

Untitled Page div#container { position: absolute; left: 50%; top: 50%; width: 800px; height: 600px; margin-top: -300px; margin-left: -400px; } Loading images

Hey Wow !
This is getting there now. I can click on a picture and it comes up inside the frame ! ! problem left to solve though the menu has shifted over to the right of the screen and is no longer useable although i can see the images and upon clicking them they do appear in the frame so your function works great !!!
I think it may be a problem with the container ? or could it be that the frames are overlapping perhaps ?
Nearly there now , Fantastic ! :)

Thanks for your help with this , i really appreciate it.
I have no idea where to put this code inside the current javascript file i have .
So far i have worked out how to change the images to links and would love to get this working with your suggestion but just dont know how .

This is the script i have ,
/**

/ Configuration variables /
var conf_reflection_p = 0.5; // Sets the height of the reflection in % of the source image
var conf_focus = 4; // Sets the numbers of images on each side of the focussed one
var conf_slider_width = 14; // Sets the px width of the slider div
var conf_images_cursor ...

I am currently using a great javascript based image viewer and wish to use it as a menu to navigate pages on my website .

Wondering if someone could take a look at this great menu and modify the javascript for me ? As i know nothing about javascript but am trying to learn .

The menu i'm talking about resides here

http://194.95.111.244/~countzero/scripts/_myImageFlow/

The aim is to get it to display as is but enable me to link the pages of my website to an inline frame on the same page . Just like a regular menu but keeping the look and feel .

Please help ,

thanks in advance
