please anyone know what is the différence between a DatawareHouse in cloud and a traditional DataWareHouse(in the company)in the Extraction of data (ETL)!!!!!

may be my question is badly formulated. because I wanted to know if that the extraction of data from different databases for eventual storage and transforming into the data warehouse will be the same as security mechanisms, methods ...
