I have been coding in c,c++ for many years, now I need to ramp up on perl within 3 weeks, can you please suggest what all books do I need to buy or I can learn advanced perl from some online website ?

They are getting a little old but are still relevant for the most part.
"Data Munging" by Dave Cross is also excellent.
