Hi, I am really struggling with this one. I want to open the port in form1 but also be able to access the port from another form. Is this possible. If yes, please guide me.

I open the port in form1 and then try use the port in form2 with no joy.

in any form , use form1.mscomm1..then u can access the mscomm proprty of form1

This does not seem to work as I get a "Outside procedure" error message.
