Table display in swing

i want to display data from a table using jTable in swing.how can i increase the text fields....kindly can anyone give me some codes

Increase the size of the text fields?

Notice the method "setColumns" that takes an int or Integer argument.

i read sun tutorial before posting here...but i couldn't understand it.that's why i'm asking for a sample code..

if you don't want to post the code,then you kindly explain the steps of fetching data and show them in JTable...

and kindly explain modeltable concept...
