Hi all!

Does anybody know how to generate a makefile from a visualStudio project? I kind of remember this was possible years ago, but can't find this option on the VisualStudio Express edition 2008 I am using now...

I have to transfer projects from VS to eclipse and need the makefile because I will still use the Microsoft compiler from eclipse.

There was a thread about this 3 months ago but nothing really useful for me.

Thanks for any help or clue.

Microsoft compilers no longer supports generating makefiles. Instead, it has a command-line tool to use the solution file. See this article.
