Help: About the word "Login"

Hi, it is really a simple question, but i can't find any deep word that can best replace the word "login". If you have some ideas please tell me. I will very much appreciate any kind of help. Thank you:)

I'm not an native English speaker, but i have heard words like sign in, sign on to enter something, or sign off, sign out to leave. But I think these phrases are more used when a person has to sign a register, when entering a building.

Interesting question...why? Here are a few more I've seen: Logon, Enter/Enter Credentials with Continue or Submit or Enter button...
