i'm working in swing applications, now i want to insert one button
in the status bar reducing the size of the status bar.....
please anybody suggest me how to proceed with this.....

i have written the code that displays one screen...(this code is using swings pakage)
what i want is to reduce the size of the status bar & insert one button adjacent to the status bar.....
please reply 2 this immediately if anyone has a solution to this....
Can't you just insert the button above the status bar.
What difference does it make?
Create a JDialog and completely get rid of the bar?
